Halloween is over…we are changing the clocks this weekend. They put down the snow mats in my condo this weekend. It can’t be avoided. It is November 1st. That means that many men that you and I know are going to trade their clean shaven faces for a month of Movember.
For bloggers, November is the anniversary of NaBloPoMo.That acronym is National Blog Posting Month. Last year I was on facebook and saw that a fellow blogger (and extended family member) was going to participate in blogging every day for a month and we challenged each other to do it. She did 30 posts in 30 days, and I did 28 posts in 30 days. This year, I am ready to post 30 posts in 30 days.
How can you think of things to write about, someone asked me the other day? The truth is, if you know me, you know that I always have a story to share. Something that happened during my travels, or just my life in general. Earlier this year, I started to write about my travel in my professional travel blog. I will be writing there as well this month. Please follow my travel stories here.
So, here we go, NaBloPoMo….hopefully my stories, anecdotes about life as I see it, and my travel related information will help you fill the grey days of the month of November.
I was getting in my car today and looked up at a tree, and all the leaves had fallen, and I started to hum, “all the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey”….
Musical interlude today is California Dreamin’, because let’s face it, after Superstorm Sandy, who isn’t dreamin’ of California!
